A Gem of a Diesel SUV in North America

The 2017 Land Rover Discovery was the first time the US has seen the Discovery namesake since the infamous Discovery II. While the LR3 and LR4 provided some distancing from maintenance woes of the past, Land Rover demonstrated a desire to revamp the Discovery with the introduction of the 2017 model. Modern, utilitarian, and comfortable, this SUV combines the ruggedness and luxury that Land Rover is known for. With engine options available, power can be attained through a robust diesel engine (my purchase) or a traditional gas engine. Given some attention and upkeep (like any other engine) this SUV can last for many years to come. - 5.0
One of the best owned

I have owned over 55 cars in my lifetime. I’m an auto enthusiast. We first leased the car as I was not sure about reliability. 3 years later and zero issues we bought out the lease and kept it. 75k miles later and zero issues and only regular oil changes and one break job. It is one of the most comfortable drives I have owned and I have owned many Porsche, bmw, and Mercedes vehicles. The air suspension is like riding on a couch. The supercharged engine is very fast for suv. If you’re looking to buy and it’s been well maintained, I wouldn’t hesitate. You can pick them up used for a steal. - 5.0
Great family car

We have had no issues with our discovery. It has been one of the best purchases we've made. Great for family trips and every day use.
